Most subjects have been explained beautifully somewhere. The problem is finding the path through them. Artyfacts lets experts build that path — not new content, just the structure that makes existing content navigable.
What is Artyfacts?
Artyfacts is for someone who knows a subject deeply and wants to help someone else learn it without drowning them in random resources. Instead of publishing one more article or course, the expert builds a map: what ideas matter, what comes first, what depends on what, and where the best explanations already live.
An artifact is one concept captured as structure. It can point to a YouTube video, an article, a question, an exercise, or an interactive demo. The expert’s contribution is not only the content; it is the path through the content.
Why It Exists
Most learning on the internet feels like being handed a pile of books with no table of contents. Artyfacts makes the table of contents the product. It helps experts show the hidden shape of a field: the order, tradeoffs, vocabulary, and questions that make the pieces click.
Knowledge Maps
The content is replaceable. The ontology is the contribution.
An artifact pulls from anywhere. The author does not need to write everything; they curate the best path through existing material and fill the gaps. Thin artifacts work when good sources already exist. Thick artifacts work when synthesis is needed.
How It Feels
You start zoomed out, seeing the whole structure like a map. Then you dive in. Follow the recommended path or wander. Artifacts link to other artifacts Obsidian-style, building a graph of concepts without forcing infinite depth.
