The Shelf
Your shelf is a living inventory with intent. Each book has a status that signals what you’re open to:
- Borrowable — you’ll lend it out
- Discussable — you want to talk about it
- Giftable — it needs a new home
- Seeking — you’re looking for a copy
The statuses create natural reasons to connect. Someone nearby is seeking a book you’d happily give away. Someone three blocks over wants to discuss the same novel that’s been on your mind.
Taste Matching
Biblocal matches readers through five facets:
- Shelf twins — you both own or have read the same books
