Unnatural

Philosophy for people who don't do philosophy.

The big questions — what consciousness is, what makes a choice free, what meaning actually means — are asked by everyone and answered clearly by almost no one. Unnatural is an ongoing attempt to change that, in plain language.

For Curious readers who want big questions about being human explained clearly.
Solves Philosophy about consciousness and meaning often becomes too abstract for the people who most want to ask those questions.
Unnatural

What is Unnatural?

Unnatural starts with a simple question: “What are we?” It is a plain-language philosophical framework about humans, consciousness, choice, knowledge, meaning, and growth.

It is not trying to be a scientific proof. It is trying to give curious readers a usable way to think about being human without needing academic philosophy first.

The Core Thesis

Humans are unique beings with privileged access to the information realm. We can understand ourselves and choose our actions. This makes us, in a precise sense, unnatural.

Structure

The theory unfolds through three acts:

Volo Ergo Sum - “I will, therefore I am.” Will as the foundation of existence, inverting Descartes’ famous formulation.

init.d - How minds create distinction and models to navigate infinite complexity. The bootstrap process of consciousness.

MMM - A growth cycle of Measure, Model, and Manifest. How we learn, understand, and create.

22 Chapters

The work spans consciousness, the relationship between information and physical reality, knowledge, meaning, ethics, and practical wisdom about growth and world-making.

Living Document

Unnatural is continuously refined rather than completed. It’s a framework for thinking, not a final answer.
